Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
Start our Fes sahara Desert 3 Days from your Riad/ Hotel in Fes or in a Nearby point for car. Then drive to Merzouga via Ifrane an Midelt. During our Journey we will experience glimpses of Middle Atlas and Higher mountains, as known Midelt is the Capital of apples in Morocco. Then Stop at Azrou, A berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest the largest in Morocco, where we’ll see some Wild Monkeys. Take a a short walk through the forest to have some pictures. Then we continuing through the Tizi N´talghamt pass to Midelt via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock.
we have time to stop for a panoramic views along the way as the Ziz Valley, or Ziz Palm trees, as known it’s the second largest river in Morocco. On arrival at afternoon the Dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, which has the largest nature underground body of water in Morocco. Once we arrive at the sahara desert, we will be welcomed by a cup of mint tea before embrarking on our camel ride for an hour, through the stunning dunes. The beautiful sunset and clear blue sky you will take your breath away and provide an unforgettable moments. Overnight will be in a Nomad tent with a traditional dinner. We will have fun by Berber music around the red fire under an amazing views of stars.
Day 2: Merzouga 4wd Excursion
Today we start our Merzouga excursion around the erg chebbi dune from your Hotel with an expert guide, for four hours of exploring. Visiting at first katarian museums of old cars in tannamoust, also association Gnawa in khamlia where most of black people those who came from the west of africa from a long time ago and settled in Morocco. We will enjoy our time listening to their beautiful songs with a glass of tea after an hour of fun.
We take our way thought the nomads exploring there way of life. Then we start again towards mefiss. The most amazing place on Berber people where they working in extracting Eyeliner from the mountains since many years ago, and where the French army were lived From colonial days. Keep going to have our lunch in a local restaurant which is a pizza of Berber. After having our lunch, we get back to your Tent, including dinner.
Day 3: Merzouga – Fes
This morning will be an early one in our tour, we will rise up and hike up the dune in order to enjoy what may just be the best sunrise in your life. After breakfast and a much needed shower. Meet your driver guide to start a New day of adventure. We depart to Rissani city which known as the first imperial city, with its interesting market where the nomads come from all over regions to sell their livestock and buy what they needed.
we keep going our way to Fes via Ziz Valley, as known it’s the second largest river in Morocco. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we will enjoy incredible views. We got our lunch in Midelt city, The Capital town of apples in Morocco. Keep going to Azrou we stop at cedar forest where we’ll see some Wild Monkeys, and take a short walk through the forest to have some pictures. Then we continuing to Ifrane which named as “Switzerland of Morocco”. We arrive Marrakech in afternoon. Drop you off in your Riad/Hotel from here our 4 Days Holiday Marrakech Fes will finish.
